RESIDENTS
The commune has a population of 5.5 thousand people. This number is quickly growing due to the rapid development of housing construction, especially in the western part of the commune.
There are 16 villages in the commune. An interesting thing is that in the smallest village there is only… one detached house and the seat of the commune authorities is located in the third-largest village of the commune.
As part of administrative division of the commune there are 12 auxiliary local administration units which in most cases include one village, it is different only in case of Gowarzewo – this administration unit includes also Tanibórz and Szewce and in case of Kleszczewo where the administration unit comprises also of Bugaj and Lipowiec.
