NEXT TO MAIN CITY OF REGION

Kleszczewo is one of the communes included in the Poznań conurbation. Its location in the centre of the thrifty Wielkopolska region next to the main city of the region makes the commune one of the most attractive places to live and relax. The city of Poznań, on which Kleszczewo borders, greatly contributes to the opportunities offered by such a little commune – it refers to the labour market, education and culture as well as road, rail and air connections. 

Lives of the Kleszczewo commune residents go on in the neighbourhood of a large city vibrant with life. Agricultural landscapes of Wrzesińska Plain are a typical image of this area. A small area covered with forests which is only 2.1% as well as a small total area of water bodies – 0.7% result from exploitation of soils for the purposes of agriculture. Currently, the character of  the commune is changing due to developing its areas, especially for the purposes of housing construction. Motorway A-2 (Berlin – Warsaw) and road S-5 (Gdansk – Wroclaw) provide a new, strong stimulus to the economic development of the commune.
